main gallery thumbnails vertical vs horizontal

    Hi. first of all congrats on very clean and great working template – I love it!
    Excuse my perhaps silly question but I would like to know how to :

    a) change the thumbnails size on gallery page ( I prefer vertical thumbnails instead of horizontal)

    Changing the below code (“data-row-height”) stretches the thumbnail but the width stays the same.

    Changing the below fragment doesn’t seem to work at all

    b) what script file ( I found bunch of them) is responsible for that

    Hi,
    Go to settings > Media > Thumbnail size and edit what you like to set the size.
    Please try this way.
    Thanks

    Please run the regenerate tumble plugin after you change the size …

    Cheers serkan. Unfortunately I am using HTML version not WordPress. Is there any solution for HTML ?

    I have the same issue on gallery. We have mixed horizontal and vertical photo.
    We have issue on vertical photo. Also if i cut the thumbnails 500×333 and leave the photo for example 2000×3000 i see an error during the view …

    Have a solution ?

    Hi, i just checked your url and i see that you have cropped the thumbnail of your vertical images to square like aspect ratio, but the full photo is still vertical, so the thumb and the full photo doesn’t have the same aspect ratio, you should preserve aspect ratios when generating thumbs, you can do this by resizing thumbs by only height (400px should be fine), as you can see in our demo site, vertical and horizontal images play well together;
