Making pages private remove other pages

    I’ve almost finished my site now, but I have no need currently for a Blog page. To remove it I just set it as private but then the Contact page suddenly vanished from my side menu.
    I then tested this, and made my Resume page private and low and behold, all the pages that had been below it on the menu vanished.
    Please, how can I hide the blog without losing other pages?

    I then went into ‘Menus’ and just deleted the menu entry for ‘blog’ and now ONLY my ‘home’ and ‘about me’ pages are showing up in the menu on the site, despite 4 others being listed on the menu in settings. What is going on?

    Hi,
    You need to go to appearance > widgets > empathy template page > remove the menu item from here as well.
