I´ve written another support thread a time ago about the problem, that embedded audios can´t be played, which was fixed (http://www.pixelwars.org/forums/topic/media-element-js-broken/).

But it seems, that your fix causes bugs at plugins: http://www.benjaminhartwich.de/immer-sonntags-teaser/

I use the Podlove Podcast Publisher (http://wordpress.org/plugins/podlove-podcasting-plugin-for-wordpress/), which is alpha, but works on many sites, for example on the twenty fourteen theme. Before you fixed the media element problem I couldn´t visit any episode at all, which was created by this plugin – only a white site was shown.

Now I get a normal site back, but it seems, that your media element overrides the plugin media element. Could you please have a look at your media element implementation, because it looks very nasty at the moment?

it´s up to date. I only use a prior theme folder, but my current version is 4.2.9.

Could an old version named theme folder cause problems?
