Thanks for the great theme.

This is my first site, and I’m just getting it going, so I apologize if this is a basic mistake.

I’ve started working on the custom navigation menu, which is working. Unfortunately, the same information appears off to the right of the home page slider as regular blue page links. I don’t have the same problem on other pages.

They are widgets, check your widgets page (Appearance > Widgets), and remove unwanted widgets from the homepage widget area.
