Sorry if this will sound dumb, but I just can’t get my head around the menus option.
Shouldn’t I be able to make a menu and place it in the footer section? I can’t see an option to do this. In the widgets section, I see: footer 1-2-3-4 but these are horizantally aligned in containers?I want to make full width footers where I can control the background colour for instance. How and where can I do this?
Hi awaghlis,
Please go to appearance > widgets > footer 1 > add custom menu widgets if you would like to use menu in the footer. After that please go to appearance > footer > you can modify background, alignment and etc. You can not put the menu exactly like header section. Also you can see the full width options in the customize section.
ThanksThank you Serkan! Here is what I am trying to achieve (http://neilpatel.com/blog/), just under the menu where he has his call to action for signing up to the newsletter. I have tried to use convert plug widget in the “blog featured area” but it’s not working. Your help will be very much appreciated. Thank you.
I think I got it working now. Problem is: when I add the Convertplug widget to the featured blog area, I get the InfoBar appearing twice (in both the blog featured area and on the website as a whole)! Now, I have tried the text widget but the inline code is not working. Please advise how to go about getting this to appear on the blog featured area only
I’ve got it working now. It takes some work to get used to ConvertPlug but it’s an amazing plug in.
Thanks Serkan and team.
I am happy that it is working now. Please don’t forget to rate the theme on themeforest if you liked it, thanks.
Hi there,
I’d like to follow up this thread as I’m also trying to put a menu in the footer, similar to on this page:
http://www.yourlittleblackbook.me/
I managed to get the menu in the footer area however I am not able to show it horizontally.
Could you please suggest how to proceed to achieve this. Have a look at: almostberliner.com
Many thanks in advance!Hi dzendzulka,
You can use this custom css code;.site-footer .menu-menu-1-container li { display: inline-block; padding: 30px 5px; }Thanks
Thanks so much! It worked perfectly.
You’re welcome, please don’t forget to rate the theme on themeforest if you liked it, thanks.
