I’ve purchased the Efor theme 10+ times for multiple clients and 80% of the time it’s ok, but my newest site at http://www.thewellnessshopllc.com has a scrolling glitch on mobile. It’s like the pages sometimes get stuck for a moment and then eventually will scroll again. But it’s def not right.
I have an android and it happens here and there. But my client has an iPhone and she said it’s happening consistently on the home page on her and her husbands phone.
Hi, deactivate Smooth Scroll setting and try again please.
– Go to Appearance > Customize > General > Layout > Smooth Scroll: No.
See: https://i.ibb.co/JjDYMxr/wp-smooth-scroll.png
Thanks
Thank you. I turned off smooth scroll… And that seemed to help a bit. But there is def something still not right. Multiple pages start scrolling ok and then get stuck. I just experienced it on the about page, mental health page, skincare page, etc.
Sometimes it scrolls off the bat and then sticks randomly. Other times the scrolling is just slow to respond like there’s a delay or glitch.
This only happens on mobile. I’m using an android and it is happening for me as well.
Any other advice?
Hi,
Could you please deactivate your third party plugins and try it again?
ThanksIs elementor pro a third party plugin? This issue is happening on 2 of my recently built sites with the efor theme. :(
Hi, Elementor pro is not counted as a third party plugin.
You said you were experiencing your problems on specific pages. Have you created a different about me page and tested the issue? Also, on which mobile devices and which browsers are you having problems?
ThanksIt seems to happen pretty inconsistently on different pages within the site http://www.TheWellnessShopLLC.com. It will look like it’s working for a minute and then get stuck. On the home page it happens especially when you scroll a bit and then stop and start to scroll again… it just won’t scroll.
This morning this page didn’t want to scroll at all for me https://thewellnessshopllc.com/pnwrejuvenation/
This is happening only on iPhones with their standard browser.
This is the 3rd website this has happened to me with the Efor theme. And I really love this theme, so I don’t want to have to change it. Thanks for your help!
Hi,
I will report this issue to our developer for deep analysis and I will keep you updated.
ThanksHello on two of my pages I have the same problem, on iphone, the home page and the coaching page. I noticed that it happens once the page is fully loaded just before you can still scroll the site. I’ve updated the theme and deactivated the plug-ins but nothing works. I’ll send you more info in private. It’s urgent to correct this fault, my site should be announced at the end of the week. thank you for your understanding. Thank you
Hi, Your feedback is very important for us. I have transferred the situation to the developer by stating that the issue is urgent. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Have a great day.Thank you for rushing a fix for this. Our site is live and the client isn’t thrilled that Apple users are complaining. Not sure what else I can do for them… So I really appreciate your developers looking into it urgently.
Hello, I’ve noticed that scrolling works if you put your thumb or finger on the first tier at the top of the screen. if that helps, that cool
Hi @jamesbcoach
Thanks for the feedback.Hi, I guess this problem is difficult to solve but have you had any news? thank you.
Hi, We reported this to the browser software developers. But I think they also received thousands of feedback. That’s why we are also waiting for the result. We think it is a browser based bug.
ThanksHi do you have some news please ?!
Hi,
I have sent a message to the developer about this issue and will update you on the latest status.
ThanksOk, but Forgive me, but I received the same reply 1 month ago.
Hi,
In very rare cases, the developer investigates the problem for deep analysis. They are also busy releasing updates, but I made sure to share your case in a very important thread.
Thanks for your patience.Any updates on this. I’d really hate to have to rebuild an entire site because Apple users literally can’t scroll properly. Please help. This is a major problem.
Hi,
I have now reminded the developer of this issue and emphasized the urgency of the matter and we will find a solution to your problem as soon as possible.
ThanksYes, please! Thanks to Kwray21 for pointing it out and thanks to you for taking care of it.
@jamesbcoach
Hi, that’s an awkward issue, scrolling works fine with desktop browsers and and Android phones, but on iPhone and iPad, sometimes it doesn’t scroll. And we don’t have this issue on our demo sites. I have logged in to your site and activated the default theme and the issue persists. That means it is not related to the theme. I can suggest some ideas for identifying the source of this issue;– You can try deactivating all extra plugins (except Elementor, Jet Elements, and Pixelwars Core) and see if the issue has gone.
– Back up your homepage (save as Elementor Page template) and start from scratch adding sections one by one and see if the issue is appearing after adding a particular section.
Hi, I have tested your site on the latest iPhone ios 17.2.1 and it is scrolling properly on my side. If you have still issues on your side you can also try the steps above.
Have a nice day!
