I received an email to let me know that there is a new update of the theme, so I downloaded it but when I installed it, wordpress would throw me the following error:

The folder already exists. / homepages / 30 / d701966556 / htdocs / mamirami / wp-content / themes / theblogger /

The installation of the theme has failed.

How should I install the update? Thank you very much :)!

I have an update issue as well.. my whole website is chaos now! I used the recommended envato api to update but it did not go well!
the parallax effect is gone in single post, header is displayed two times, layout is completely gone the way I wanted it.. not satisfied with the update!
please help!

If I download all files and documentation from themeforest, and install the zip file, it says it is missing the style.css sheet…
how do I fix this?

never mind, got it..

But header menu is still showed two times, below each other…? how come?

Hi I need help also as it is showing 2 menu below each other for me as well.

But for me it got fixed, it was something with cache. bartapart try using Incognito mode or new device you will see there is 1 menu. Or clear your cache and cookies.

Hi, If you still have any issue, please provide me your related url. Third party plugins sometimes may conflict with the themes.

I still have 1 problem left.
The easy social share buttons plugin: I have this sidebar with grey icons floating on the left…
And for the love of…… I can not figure out where the come from. I don’t want them there, I only want them below a single post. i’ve looked at every option in de plugin; where to display -. option deselected, but still they appear..

can you help me?

Please go to easy social share buttons > where to display > positions > Additional button display positions > remove it from the left sidebar and save it.

I’m sorry to say, but been there done that.
the option (sidebar) is not even selected but still the icons popup on my website.
i’ve even deactivated it on every device (tablet mobile etc.) but still no luck..

any other ideas?

If you have any cache plugin is active, it may still keep the position. Anyway, you can use this custom css code to remove it as well.

Any idea where I can delete the cache specific for this plugin? is that located within wordpress? or just my internet browser (because i’ve deleted al history of cache and cookies)?

if that doesn’t work the css code will.

I mean, if you have any cache plugin, it may hold those social icons. Anyway use that custom css code and it will also solve the issue.

I just did the latest update 1.8.1

And now the parallax effect is totally gone and the top menu bar is double! Also Titles are gone from featured area! I have seen quite a few other people are saying the same thing on the forums, but I see no solution posted.

Update: Now this morning (maybe because I cleared my browser cache), parallax effect seems to work and double top menu is gone but multiple category titles are shown in the featured area and top single post when there used to be just one showing.

Also, our ad management added a special sticky side bar ad (at end of side bar) now ad disappears as soon as you scroll down to that ad.

Can you please help? Thank you!
