Portfolio – I want 2 in one line.

    I am setting 3 portfolio tabs to 1x and I have a short description below that. But instead of it placing 2 items per line, i.e. 2 portfolio projects in one line, it line breaks. I have kept the thumbnail featured image size as 1x but still this is happening. How can I change it?!

    Thanks

    Hi, can you provide a url to see what’s wrong. Normally if you choose 1x size for portfolio items, they should appear 2 in a row.

    Hi, i see the portfolio items 2 in a row. Does your screen width smaller than 1160px, if so it is normal as they look 1 item per row.

    Hello,

    I have two tabs in my portfolio “ENGLISH” and “SPANISH” and the Spanish one is displaying items 1 per line while the English displays two items per line. I want to have both display 2 items per line.

    Thanks!

    Hey, first of all you had made a mistake about the Twitter widget. Don’t use any url or twitter username. Just do the steps under the part of Twitter in the customization section of the theme’s documentation.

    – About your issue, I will check your site again tomorrow.

    Thanks

    Hi, it is because you have updated bootstrap. To fix it edit main.css and find line: 213, replace the line with this;

    .portfolio-items .hentry { float:left; width: 40%; padding: 10px 15px; margin-bottom: 0; text-align: center; -moz-box-sizing:border-box;-webkit-box-sizing:border-box;-ms-box-sizing:border-box;box-sizing:border-box; margin-left: 0;}

    Hello Ahmetsali,

    Where do I go to find “main.css and find line 213, replace the line with this;”?
    .portfolio-items .hentry { float:left; width: 40%; padding: 10px 15px; margin-bottom: 0; text-align: center; -moz-box-sizing:border-box;-webkit-box-sizing:border-box;-ms-box-sizing:border-box;box-sizing:border-box; margin-left: 0;}

    Hi Ahmetsali,

    Never mind I was able to figure it out. Thank you!

    One last question…

    I created a Background image that I want it to blend with the Front Cover Image. (Please see my site http://www.alejandroguimoye.com) How can I do it so that when you look at the website in different size computer screens the Background Image stays follows the resizing of the Front Cover Image? Also I found on this forum the suggested dimensions for the Front Cover image (770px x1090px) but when I designed my Front Cover image to these dimensions and uploaded it to the theme the image does not cover the entire top and bottom area of the Front Cover Image container.

    In summary how can I make it so that my Front Cover Image takes up the entire container and the Background Image adjusts relatively to the Front Cover Image so that the Background image and the Front Cover Image looks like one large image no matter on what size computer screen you see it in (I don’t mind if the sides get cut off on the background image depending on computer screen).

    Thank You!

    this can be a little frustrating since cover images resizes according to screen width and height also. You can do some experiments to find which resolution suits best to your desire.
