Dear Pixelwars,

This is my portfolio page: http://esthervanluit.com/#/portfolio/

Unfortunately, the items on the page itself won’t display if I click on them, e.g.:
http://esthervanluit.com/#/portfolio/competencies/

They do display when I change the URL in in my browser to:
http://esthervanluit.com/portfolio/competencies/

I tried to change the portfolio page URL to http://esthervanluit.com/portfolio, but that just gives me a 404. I can only change the part of the URL after /portfolio/ for all my portfolio items, so I cannot add the /#/ over there either. For some reason there seems to be a disconnect between the portfolio page and the item page.

I have tested this in Firefox and IE. I looked around on the forum, but the only suggestion I saw was disabling all plugins. I did this and it had no effect.

Can you please help me out?

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that directly navigating to http://esthervanluit.com/#/portfolio/ doesn’t open the right page either. You can navigate to portfolio from the menu though.

I believe I followed all the instructions from your documentation on the portfolio correctly.
When I tried restoring one of your portfolio samples, it displayed the same behaviour as my own portfolio items (it wouldn’t open unless I removed /#/ from the URL).

I would like to check couple of steps with you.
Do you have a page which name is portfolio?
How did you change the portfolio title to research?
Did you change just the label or you changed the pages name as well?
And one more step. Please kindly check this step.
Appearance > Menus > Menu Structure > Portfolio url > #/portfolio

When I click the portfolio image nothing happens and my search bar changes to – http://www.shaekilley.com/#/portfolio/saving-the-ballina-bombers/

However, the URL of my portfolio item is – http://www.shaekilley.com/portfolio/saving-the-ballina-bombers/

….

Hello Serkan, my site isn’t live yet because the portfolio isn’t working.

But if you test your own index.html that was provided you can see it doesn’t work.

It looks like the js isn’t working/linked properly, because it doesn’t open into the light box like it does in the wordpress version.

I can link it to another page like sheakilley did above but that is not the effect I am looking for.
