When viewing the portfolio section and then clicking on a portfolio specific item, the site launches a widget ( I don’t know what to call it).
But, you lose the overall side navigation sidebar and get stuck in the portfolio section. The only way to get to the home site is to use the back button.
Is there a way to get a button or the sidebar menu when in the portfolio examples??

I would also like the side navigation menu in portfolio pages and the related topic you mentioned does not give information how to do this.

Hi Phil,
Go to appearance > widgets > empathy template page > portfolio widget > Choose your page and save it.
If you still have the issue then deactivate all your plugin and try it again.

Ok I’m looking at the portfolio widget and there is no option to add the side bar when you are viewing a portfolio post..

Well I’ve seen on this forum you have provided others custom css to allow something simple like a side-bar, maybe you could provide me and many others with the same opportunity?
