I’d like to have the portfolio page filter the different portfolio posts by department–as is done in the Editor demo theme. You can click on coding, design, or logo buttons and only those portfolio thumbnails are shown in the page.
Currently, I have several departments set up and porfolio posts types. The “all” button show all of the thumbnails, but when I click on the other department buttons, the button responds with a selection as expected, but no thumbnails appear. The Thumbnails only appear under “all.”
Hi, Do you see that all of them are assigned to the relevant department when you check the portfolio item?
If you activated any third party plugins, please deactivate them and try it again. If you still have the issue, send me your wp admin details via our contact form and add this topic url as well.
Thanks
1. If Manually: Do I update the child theme or just the Editor parent theme?
2. If using the envato API, I found that impossible to do. I make a token and got a long code. When I enter the token or long code into the “add item” form in WP, I get an “Add item” box asking for a token and an Item ID. Neither my token nor the long code I received works in this box. “Item ID” is never explained.
So both options, No 1 and 2 need more information. There are gaps in the instructions.
Hi, The full description of Api was made by Envato and we have not explained it so widely. No need to update the child theme. Updating the main file is enough. It is enough to delete and re-install the latest version of the theme for this. You can get more information about item id in the api documentation. Manually updating will only take 1 min. https://build.envato.com/api/
Thanks
