Portfolio page doesn't exist(?)

So following the Documentation, I imported the .xml dummy data (I presume that’s Sample Data -> All -> bookcardwp.wordpress.2013-05-11.xml; if not, please advise). I’ve downloaded the package a couple of days ago.
I have pages: FRONT COVER, RESUME and CONTACT appear in my Pages (Admin Panel) but not PORTFOLIO?
Interestingly enough, if I set the central page (Appearance -> Theme Options) to blank (Picture 1) I do get something resembling Portfolio but not quite (there’s no Title and also, there’s no way to edit it since there is NO page to edit) -> Picture 2
I honestly don’t understand since there’s no PORTFOLIO Page even defined how does it appear? And, more importantly, how to edit it? If I set the value of Portfolio Page to Sample Page, the Sample Page content appears BELOW the already pictured “Portfolio” content.

Hi msanakoren,
Please go to pages and check please is there any PORTFOLIO page ? If it is not please create a page which calls PORTFOLIO.

Hi msanakoren,
Go to dashboard > portfolio and you can see the portfolio items. You can edit the portfolo items from there not in the portfolio page.

Hi,
Great template – but I’m having similar problems getting the PORTFOLIO title to appear.
I’ve created a page called PORTFOLIO, but how do I get it to appear?

Hi joelbarnett,
Appearance > theme opitons> page > portfolio page : choose portfolio.
Your title should appear. If you still have the issue, provide me your related URL.
