    Well, I’m seeing on the topic css resizes photographs. For example, I go to wordpress images to 750px x 500px and publish them see that resizes images to 740px x 493px.
    I upload the images are of good quality and are focused but publish lose quality and focus, which can not afford. You know it is due? How can i fix it?
    Thank you very much.

    Yes, it is http://www.jennicarbo.com
    I returned to resize photos to the size that gives the site, which would be 740 x 493, yet still resized it even smaller. I do not understand, do not have the quality I see in my editing program or on my computer. Thank you.

    Hi jennicarbo,
    For retina screen photograph size should be at least 1.5x bigger.
    You can try to upload 1.5 or double resolution image.
    Thanks

    I mean try to uplaod 1000px X 750px image resolution. =)
    Retina screens need 1.5x size bigger than normal size.
    Thanks

    Well thanks for your answer but it is not the solution, because the issue remains the final image resizing to 740px x 492,99px. Thus the subject reduces image quality therefore lost and thus the sharpness.
    Being photograph can not show my work well and upload some pictures with a very poor quality. He thinks someone will hire my services with this image quality in my photographs?
    that’s not for you a retina display, which does not seem relevant because if the subject reduces the image quality is always lost.
    You do not know what size the images do not lose quality? or because this happens? because the subject reduces the image and makes this not look focused?
    Yourself to this entry could check for example http://www.jennicarbo.com/portfolio/post-boda-alforja photos are totally unfocused when they are not.

    Hi, portfolio page’s width is 1040px by default, if you resize your images 1040px manually and then upload to wordpress and use them in a gallery by selecting Size: Full, your images shouldn’t be resized by wordpress or css again.

    Hi ahmetsali, I’ve done what you told me. Indeed I see that the size of the portfolio is 1040px.
    I took some of the images that are blurred and I changed the size you told me 1040 px, climbed to the web, I put a size: full and my surprise is that still resized it to 740px. Why? I do not get it?
    I have yet to climb a wedding from a week ago and for that reason.

    I would recommend you to install and run regenerate thumbnails plugin for once and try it again;

    Hello, I downloaded the plugin and I’ve used. I made a draft post and images follow 740 px and not 1040px, plus they remain blurry. This makes no sense. Remains as before and do not know what else to do.

    Hi jennicarbo,
    Your custom css codes are affecting the website.

    .gallery { margin: 32px 1px 1px 145px; }

    First of all, copy your custom codes to your pc and remove from custom css box and try it again.

    Hi, SEO Friendly Images plugin is messing everything.
    I just created a test page on the portfolio. You can check the page. Uploaded 3 images with 1040px and it looks okay.
    If you see any problem with the theme, first of all, deactivate all your plugin. The third party of plugins can mess sometimes.
    Thanks

    I could not look at it in depth, and it seems perfect if they have fixed but me ye have offset the photos, changed the color of the titles below the logo is the description which I want to avoid and do not see where modify the css my theme to fix everything that you have unseated me. Also because the pluggin WP Super Cache is disabled? Where do I find the CSS? and remove the description from under my logo? as center the images of the portfolio?

    Hi jennicarbo,
    I didn’t do anything to your theme. I just deactivate all your plugin and activate it one by one and saw that images plugin is putting a limitation on 740px. If you need to use this plugin, just search an alternative one.
    Your images are not center because that plugin was played with your theme folder and changed the image files. So you should remove the images from media folder and upload it again with 1040px.
    I created a text page when that plugin was disabled and my 1040px images sit center and didn’t see any issue. So it is that plugin’s mistake, not mine.
    We can’t provide support for third party plugins, you may contact to plugin author or you may consider hiring an expert at envato studio.

    Hello, after spending some time without being able to enter the site, I see again the problem persists.
    I do not want to show my images to 1040px. As we speak any size image I upload is resized to 740. Right now I want to upload some pictures to 900 px, which is the size that I want them on my website, and my surprise again is that even if you put full size, these are still visible in the web to 740px. thus creating blur photos.
    So I think the problem was not SEO Friendly Images plugin as you said as the staff continues to reduce the size of my photos to 740px.

    Hi jennicarbo,
    I told you before, Seo friendly image plugin was played with your theme folder and changed the image files. So you should deactivate that plugin and remove the images from media folder and upload it again with 900px.
    I tested on your website. That was the only problem and when I did it, I haven’t met any blur photo problem.

    Seo friendly image plugin it off since you told me serkan. Since then I am uploading images to 900px and all of them are on the web 740px.

    Hi, I just deactivated all your plugin and tried to upload an image 1200px and didn’t see any issue;
    http://www.jennicarbo.com/portfolio/post-boda-alforja/
    I would recommend you to deactivate all your plugin and activate one by one and find which one is playing with your theme.
    Third party plugin is not our responsibility.
    The theme is working very well.
    Kind regards

    Hi, yes, I see your picture looks good.

    You tell me you’ve uploaded a photo to 1200px, but here I leave a screenshot where perfectly is that the size of the photo, as seen on the web is 1040 x 694.18.

    Or is that something that is reducing the photographs and there is no plugin activated at this time.

    I just uploaded bigger size photo with non-activate plugins. It was all deactivated. One of your third party plugin still holding the picture size up to 740px. When I deactivate all of them, didn’t see any problem to upload a picture.
    Thanks

    The plugins are disabled, and you tell me that his image is 1200 px, but on the web 1040px shown. In the screenshot I sent you is clearly seen.
    http://imgur.com/a/q3IEg His image is reduced to 1040px

    Hi, portfolio page’s width is 1040px by default. So if you add larger image, wordpress will resize it to 1040px. If you would like to increase it then you can use this custom css code;

    .single-portfolio .layout-medium { max-width: 1200px; }

    Thanks

    Hello, I think I found it the pronlema. In the plug there is an option called jetpack photon. This is what the photographs to be reduced.
    Thanks for the effort and patience you have taken you with me.
