Hi there! I wonder how is it possible to create a food blog theme that doesn’t have the option to write a recipe and to post it directly to the home page. How else am I supposed to bring people on the blog if they can’t see the recipe on the homepage. And the only option to have it posted directly to the homepage is to create the recipe and to write a new article where to include the code of the recipe. The SEO of the site doesn’t work properly because the content is doubled. So maybe I just don’t know how to post the recipe so that it will appear stuck to the slider but also, if I want it so, below the slider, mixed with other articles.
Hi, I see your point, recipe posts are custom posts and they are different from regular posts, they appear on the recipes page when published;

the only way to add recipes to regular blog stream is to create a new post and add the recipe shortcode you want to show, this is how Cooked plugin works. We have also reviewed other recipe plugins they are not so user-friendly like Cooked plugin and they work in a similar way(adding shortcodes to regular posts).
You can fix the duplicate content issue by navigating to Wp Admin > Recipes > Settings > and check the “Disable Public Recipes” option.

I just bought lahanna theme
and have the same issue
that I cant publish the recipe directley to the home page, and I have to convert it to a post first.
and the posts will not be shown in the archive.
does this issue get fixed or still the same

unfortunately, it is still not possible with the Cooked recipes plugin, however, it is possible with a similar plugin called “Delicious Recipes”

It has a similar design and features as the Cooked plugin and has an option “Display Recipes On Homepage” to include recipe posts to the blog stream.
