Hello,

I want to remove the title of the category page.

For example, visit this category page http://iondoaga.com/category/blog/ and you’ll notice that under site menu links the pages displays “category” and below “BLOG” and below is the title of the blog post.

I want to remove those two words “category” and “blog” from the category page. Let the category begin directly by displaying the blog post title.

I tried this method, but it did not remove the word “category”. I added it to the Custom CSS field. Is there any other way of getting rid of the word category?

This custom CSS code hides the heading of the blog category page. Are you trying to get rid of the portfolio category? Could you please share your related URL?

Yes I am trying to hide the word “category” on my blog pages. My site is using a temp domain as my URL is migrated over. So I can’t send the link unfortunately.
Is there a way to sent you a screen shot?

It currently says
“Category”
The Stories

Then the first posts title name.

The actual word category is all I want to remove.

Hi, The code is correct and it needs to work because I tested it. Once the web site is published, you should keep in touch again. Try putting the code at the top of the css box. If parentheses or punctuation fail, it will not work.
