Hi,

As per the title, I would like to remove the view count from the blog posts on the blog page and the posts pages.

I have tried following these ideas:

but the count is still displayed in both places.

I have tried on different browsers, mobile devices and cleared the cache and it is still there.

Can you help please?

Hi Adrian,
You can deactivate the plugins but you can keep the plugins and check the settings again.

So..
1. Deactivate plugins. This is fine the view count disappears. Counting stops.
2. Reactivate plugin. View count reappears and settings as they wee before they were deactivated.

Obviously it would be good to see these in Admin view or to know that they are being recorded.

Is there not a way to just switch off viewing these for non-admins?

Yes.. and now everyone can see the view count again. This has not worked.

Please go to appearance > customize > meta > single post meta > view counts > choose hidden and save it.
