Hi,

Is there a way to remove portfolio/department etc from the permalinks? Currently I’m using portfolio items as menu buttons and “portfolio” appears in the permalink.

Example:

What I have now: http://www.stefanradu.ro/portfolio/portrete/
What I want: http://www.stefanradu.ro/portrete/

The same happened when I tried to use departments for multiple portfolio pages.

It is not possible by default. This is the way how theme works. I could not see portfolio tag in the permalink section.

That’s because I installed a small plug-in for that and it seems to work fine…for now. But I don’t know how it will interact with future theme/wordpress updates and I don’t know what happens with the permalinks if I decide to deactivate this plug-in. So I was wondering if there are safer workarounds for this.

Also, the share button in gallery only works in “gallery with zoom”? Doesn’t seem to work with “gallery without zoom” – my favourite, or “simple gallery”. Is there a way to have a share button for those also? Sorry if this has been asked before, haven’t searched in the older topics.

Hi, i see what you mean, but it is not available by default and it requires more time and effort to customization, if you are not familiar to wordpress coding you may consider working with a professional.
