Hello, I recently purchased the empathy theme. and I am struggling with a number of issues.

1) Replacing the homepage video with a static image (like the demo)
2) Can’t send a message via contact form.
3) Changing portfolio page title.
4) creating a custom template for project pages (Slider with images, Text content & video or embedded demo)

can you please provide steps on how to achieve each of these? I am totally new to wordpress so I know very little. apologies upfront but I could really use ur help.

Hello, I forgot to mention another issue.

5) on the side menu the icons that are present for each menu item are not visible anymore.
6) how do I add an image icon on top of the menu like in the demo?
7) the google maps background for the contact page is giving me errors for some reason?

Hi,
1) Please go to page edit your homepage and upload a featured image and save it. Then go to appearance > widgets > drag and drop the Empathy page home widget to the empathy page template area and add the video url and save it.
2) Your host may have disabled the mail() function. It must be enabled on your server. Please contact your hosting company.
3) Go to appearance > widgets > empathy page portfolio widgets and change the title for portfolio and save it.
4) When you create a portfolio item, you can see the type on the right hand side. First of all you should choose the type of the portfolio. If it is video then add the video url. If it is slider then click to create a gallery button and add your image.
First of all, I would recommend you to read the documentation in the theme folder. This will answer many problems. Secondly, I ask you not to ask so many questions under one roof. Because users with similar problems can be forced to look for their own answers. First, search for a problem. If you do not find the answer, create a topic for each question. In this way, other users can easily search for similar questions. Thank you for your understanding.
