Hello.
Firstly, I am NOT a WordPress wizard…..actually the opposite.

Issue: Currently my home page (I’ve purchased THE BLOGGER) is the default ‘Home Alternative’.

1. I cannot work out how to change it to the ‘Grid Style’
2. Also, for some reason, a weird purple coloured graduated background is sitting behind my logo – I can not work out how to remove it (or where it comes from?)
3. Also, what page style are POSTS associate with?

Hi CJ,

I might help you a bit:

To change home styles go to: Customizer -> Homepage Settings and Change the Page under “Homepage” to the one you want. You may want to have imported the demo data you want beforehand.

The gradient can be edited here: Customizer -> Header -> General.

For the last question: Customizer -> Single Post,

I have managed to change the colour from the customizer section.
I have imported demo data.

1. However, what I am trying to do is change the home page layout to ‘Blog List’ theme layout instead of the default one. Like this:

I have watch the Pixelwars video & the program isn’t doing the same thing.
I am selecting ‘Style’ in Customizer & the drop down menu is there but when I select a style, nothing changes?

Please go to appearance > customize > blog > choose list layout and save it.
