Hi! I want that when someone shares a specific images with the “Share on Facebook” link, this will share the URL of the photo that you are viewing, like “http://domain.com/gallery.php#&gid=1&pid=3” , I’ve been looking in the PhotoSwipe forums with got no luck, I’ll be looking forward to you response, thanks.
Hi, i see your point, i tried to make it that way but unfortunately facebook share doesn’t work with url parameters, so basicly domain.com/gallery-single.html#&gid=1&pid=1 will be same with domain.com/gallery-single.html for facebook. So as an alternative you can make it share the full image url(which is not so cool) or a single attachment page for displaying images by adding data-attachment-page="image-url-here.jpg" to your links;
<a href="images/gallery/01.jpg" data-size="2000x2000" data-med="images/gallery/medium/01.jpg" data-med-size="960x960" data-attachment-page="image-url-or-attachment-page-url-here">
<img src="images/gallery/small/01.jpg" alt="image" width="500" height="500" />
<figure>Portrait of a young man, studio shooting.</figure>
</a>
What I’ve checked is that a go to an specific link and the go to the share button it does share the exact URL, maybe there is a way so that the javascript will rescan the URL so it can be the one with #gid… I don’t know, it’s just a thought. Thanks anyway.
