Is there anyway to remove the underline when you use an image for the site title oppose to the default text title for the theme?

Hi, use this custom css:

h1.site-title a { border-bottom: none; }

Thanks do I need to physically edit one of the CSS files for the site? I think it is ‘main.css’. Is there anyway this can be done through the WP CP or do I need to edit the raw file?
