Hi,
Is there a way to deactivate the autoplay for the slider gallery? This issue appears only on mobile (desktop is fine).
Please check this link http://www.kalamansijourney.ch/insel-siargao/ on mobile. Since I’d like to work with portrait and landscape format, the text is moving back and forth because of the height change.
Thanks for your help,
SarahHi Sarah,
You can use this custom script<script> $("#intro").owlCarousel({ autoPlay : false, )} </script>Thanks
Hi Serkan,
thank you for this. But how and where do I implement this script?
Thanks, Sarah
Hi Sarah,
You can use the custom js codes via this kind of plugins;
https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-js/
ThanksHi Serkan,
thanks for the code and the advice to install this plugin. However, I wasn’t able to deactivate the autoplay mode of the slider gallery on mobile devices. I did the following steps:
– I installed the plugin Simple Custom CSS and JS
– Then I clicked on “Add JS Code” and copied and pasted your script code in to the editor.
– I didn’t make changes on the Options sidebar.
– I published the Code. Can you please specify what I need to do, to make the magic happen?
Many thanks for your help.

Thanks for your patience.Hi Serkan,
ok, I’ll be waiting for the answer. Thanks :)
SarahHi, autoplay for gallery slider is already off by default, I have just checked your source code and tested your url on the mobile and it doesn’t autoplay on my side. Does your problem still persist?
Hi ahmetsali,
The autoplay starts as soon as the user clicks on the slider navigation button. I have uploaded the screencast here:

I tested chrome and safari and see the same behavior.
Any idea how to resolve this?
Many thanks for your help,
