I imported the demo data of the Life theme, but the slider doesn’t work. I already added a widget in the page featured area, but it doesn’t show at all.

Hi,
I could not check your related url because of the construction plugin. If you set up your blog page as a homepage, you need to use the slider widget in the blog featured area.

I use my portfolio as homepage and not the blog. Can I maybe send you my login so you can fix this issue? I want to go online as soon as possible and the slider is really important for me.

I deactivated my under construction plugin.

Hi Mischa,
Please go to appearance > widgets > portfolio featured area > drag and drop the main slider widget and save it.
You need to use portfolio featured area instead of page featured area because the portfolio page is your homepage.

Unfortunately the slider won’t appear Serkan.

I want to use the video slider just like the demo so I used the (life) Intro widget. But I tried both widgets in both areas and neither of them is working.

Hi,
I just deleted your homepage. I set up the portfolio page as a home page. On the right hand side of the page, there is a page featured area. I chose the portfolio featured area and saved it.

Hi Serkan,

Sorry the say but I am still having some trouble with the slider on my homepage on http://www.misvids.nl. When I don’t use any info on the slider the size is perfect. But when I start to add a text line and a link the slider is automatically changing in height. Something that isn’t happening on my other website: http://www.studiomima.nl

Do you know what’s causing this? I would like to have it fixed like the studiomime website.

I am almost finished, I really love the theme and I think after this I won’t bother you anymore ;-)

Hi, The slider is self-optimizing in terms of the responsiveness of the text on it.
You can go to appearance > customize > featured area > intro > decrease intro top-bottom padding

Hi there,

After 4 years I am back with the same question. I am tranfering my old website to a new one still using your theme (still the best!) and can not get the banner to show up above the portfolio.

Again I use the portfolio as my homepage.

Is it possible for you to take a look and make a banner show up above the portfolio on the homepage? Getting a bit frustrated :-(

I will be gratetful for the coming 4 years :-)
