Dear friends,
can you please let me know how to translate NEXT SLIDE and PREV SLIDE in the slider on the homepage http://www.espera.hr (located near footer).
thank you.
Hi,
Thank you for your message.
You can easily translate the “NEXT SLIDE” and “PREV SLIDE” texts using the Loco Translate plugin, which works well with the theme.
Here’s how you can do it:
Install and activate the Loco Translate plugin (if not already installed).
Go to Loco Translate → Themes in your WordPress dashboard.
Select the theme you’re using (e.g., Archy or your current active theme).
Choose your desired language or click “New language” to add one.
In the search bar, look for “NEXT SLIDE” and “PREV SLIDE”.
Enter your translations and Save.
After that, the translated strings should appear on the homepage slider near the footer.
Let us know if you need help with any step!
Best regards,
SerkanHello,

– Select your language or click “New language” to add it.
– Use the search box to find the strings “Next Slide” and “Prev Slide”.
– Enter your translations and click Save.Once saved, your translations will automatically appear in the slider.
Let us know if you need any help during the process.
Best regards,
MehmetDear Mehmet,
I did exactly what you suggested, and thank you for that, but it still doesn’t work :/
Don’t know what’s the issue hmmHi again,
Here’s what you can try next:
– In Loco Translate > Plugins > Prime Slider, click “Edit Template”.
See: https://i.ibb.co/gFw3Q0RK/plugin-1.png– Then, run the “Sync” action to update the list of translatable strings.
See: https://i.ibb.co/svTmx9Vk/plugin-2.png– After syncing, Save the template.
– Then go back to your language file (Loco Translate > Plugins > Prime Slider > Language file), search again for “Next Slide” and “Prev Slide”, and enter your translations.
– Save the file again.
This should make the new strings available and translatable on your site.
Let me know how it goes!
Best regards,
MehmetDear Mehmet, thanks for your prompt reply. I had no luck with this one :/
May I give you credentials just for you to have a look?Hi,
Thanks again for providing access.
I checked your site and noticed that the “Prime Slider” plugin was running an older version. I’ve updated it to the latest version, and now the translations for “Next Slide” and “Prev Slide” are working correctly.
You can now adjust or fine-tune the translation anytime via “Loco Translate”, and it should reflect properly on the site.
Just as a general tip:
We always recommend keeping your plugins up to date, as newer versions often fix bugs, improve compatibility (including with translation tools), and enhance overall performance. One final note regarding your site’s security:
Now that I’ve finished checking everything, I recommend that you change your WordPress admin password, just to be on the safe side, especially since it was shared externally.Feel free to reach out if you need anything else!
Best regards,
MehmetPerfect, Mehmet! Thank you.
Concerning the updates; sometimes I’m kinda afraid that if I update everything that something might not work properly, but I will update all plugins including the elementor and the Archy theme.
Just one more thing can you please check; just above the footer there is a video with the letters saying: Imate projekt?
on some devices (iphone) the video is not playing, it is just some background, What might be the issue?thank so much.
Hi, You’re absolutely right to be cautious—sometimes updates can affect site layout or compatibility. Here’s a safe approach:
Take a full backup of your site (using plugins like UpdraftPlus)
Then update Elementor, Archy theme, and other plugins one by one
After each update, check the frontend to ensure everything looks and functions as expected.
The issue you described—where the video doesn’t play and shows only a static background—is a common behavior on iOS devices due to the following reasons:
Autoplay restrictions: iPhones often block autoplay of videos unless they are muted
Background videos (especially in Elementor or HTML5) might not load due to mobile OS limitations
Solutions:
Ensure the video is muted and set to autoplay + loop in Elementor settings
Also enable the option: “Play on mobile devices” if available
As a fallback, Elementor allows setting a background image—which is what you’re currently seeing on iPhone (this is expected behavior unless modified)
Thanks again, and feel free to reach out anytime—happy to help! 😊
Dear Serkan,
thank you for all the written, I will surely have a look. I had minor issues with login here, I entered the purchase code but it said it is not valid, I inserted it today and successfully log-ined here :/ hopefully in the future it wont bother me anymore hehe :/
Hi,
I’m glad to hear that you were able to log in successfully this time. 😊 Sometimes there can be temporary glitches with the Envato/ThemeForest validation system, but now that it’s working, you shouldn’t have any issues going forward. If the purchase code error happens again, please feel free to let me know and I’ll assist you right away.
Best regards,
Serkan
