Whenever I try to add a slider or mosaic from the gallery, i see “This slideshow requires JavaScript.” This is part of the jetpack plugin, but no slider plugin I try to use works. When I tried to use a newer version of jquery, the entire site breaks.

Is there a working slider I can use for this theme? or an update that lets me use newer plugins?

We haven’t tested this theme with slider plugin. You can try to use this slider plugins.
