Hi! I’ve just installed Readme and I can’t get shortcodes for Linkedin to work in my header. I’m using a text widget in the “Header Social Icons” section of the “Customize” dashboard, as directed, but can’t figure out why this isn’t working. (It also isn’t working in CSS for pages?) Is there a specific way I should be formatting the URL? Is “linkedin” the correct social icon type?

You should add the social icon shortcode like this;

[social_icon type="linkedin" url="#"]
[social_icon type="facebook" url="#"]
[social_icon type="twitter" url="#"]
[social_icon type="dribbble" url="#"]
[social_icon type="instagram" url="#"]
[/social_icon_wrap]
