I want to switch from the Richard Hopkins demo to the John Ray demo. How do I do that? I tried using the one click demo importer but it does not change the theme. I searched this topic on this forum and I see the response is to delete the previous demo content. How do I do that? I created my full course in LearnPress will changing the demo effect my course content?

I tried deleting all the pages, posts and menus but it still does not work. Please help!

If you loose any content of courses, please contact your hosting company to get the backups of the files.

Now I can’t log on to my wordpress site. It says my email address and username don’t exist. I can’t get into it.

I just got back in via my hosting company. When I restore the backups of the files and databases will it remove the new demo you just imported?

I lost the content of my course so I restored from the backup but it went back to the old theme. Can you tell me how to switch to the new demo myself? And how to keep the course content? So that we don’t have to keep going back and forth.

You can use wp reset plugin to delete all content. P.S. Before you reset the data, you can export courses.

When you delete everything, run the one click demo import plugin once.

The Learnpress Import/Export plugin does not work. It exports the file with zero bytes and does not successfully import. I’ve tried installing an older version of the plugin but it won’t let me activate it. Is there a way to restore the course without the plugin?

I got it to work. I had to change the permissions of the LearnPress folder to 755 in order for the export/import plugin to work. My hosting is Siteground for anyone else having an issue with that it could be the permissions. Thanks a bunch!!

I just screwed up and added a different demo without deleting the other. I originally had the Linda Cooper, and decided on the Judy West one. Now its a small cluster f*ck. How can I fix?

You can run wp reset plugin once;

Then, install theme plugins then run the one click demo import plugin and choose your demo content.
