I’ve installed several demos to check out what is best for me.
I’m now cleaning up what is not needed as I have 38 template files.

I’m using the Theme of Demo 9, so I’ve already removed a lot of the templates of demo 6 and 8.

I have a few questions:

1) I currently have 3 default kit template:
default-kit
default-kit-2
default-kit-2-2
When I try to trash any it says “Are you sure you want to delete your Site Settings”.
Which files can I delete?

2) How do these templates here work? How are they used?
I see some have the type page, some section, some no type.
I already see what’s on my site in pages, so I try to understand what I can delete, what I shouldn’t, what I can/should/should not edit.

PS. What would really be useful is at least for one theme a video walkthrough on how to set everything up. It will help us rapidly get up and running without spending multiple days over the net looking for what is what ;-).

Hi,
In order not to get confused, I recommend you to install a fresh theme. For this, you can install the plugin called “wp reset”. Then, if you reinstall the demo you want, you will get rid of all unnecessary files.
