Hi!

I am trying to to create some galleries to showcase the work of my collaborators in a page, and I get this message:

Jetpack’s Carousel has been disabled, because another plugin or your theme is overriding the [gallery] shortcode.

Does this theme overrides the shortcode? How do I fix it? Because my posts are travel related, and I will want to use galleries often. Please help!

Hi,
Please deactivate third party plugin. You can show your galleries via our gallery feature. For example, you can check our this related url;
http://themes.pixelwars.org/theblogger/default/take-off-control/
You can add your image via( add media > create a gallery button ).
We are overriding the shortcode. Why would you like to use jetpack plugin? Is it functionality much better than ours ? If you still don’t want to use our default feature and want to use jetpack plugin then we might think to add a feature for disable shortcodes for the next update.

Thank you, I tried that and it worked just fine. I am learning as I go, so I’m still confused as to whether or not I needed the Jetpack plugin or not, and I kept it there.
