Is there any easy way to use the [drop_cap] shortcode to affect not just the first character, but anything you put inside the [drop_cap] tags [/drop_cap]? For example, I want to drop chapter numberings for a book… 1, 2, 3 up to 21, but as soon as I hit double digits, the [drop_cap] styling breaks.

Hi mrzchuck,
Wordpress’s drop cap feature just holding the first letter. So it’s not possible by default to catch the second letter,which means you can not able to use it for double digits.
