    Hi,

    1. I am trying to do a mega menu on my consultra-based site.

    2. I see the theme doesn’t come with a white label option but thought to ask for any pointers in that direction.

    3. I really wanted to use Home 03 but when I view the page I see just the body but no header/slider. Why is this?

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out! We’re happy to assist you.

    1. You can achieve this using a plugin like WP Mega Menu or Max Mega Menu.

    2. You can customize branding elements directly from the Customizer.

    – Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity.

    3. It looks like the homepage might not be set up correctly. Please check the following:

    – Prime Slider Plugin: Our theme uses Prime Slider for the homepage slider. Make sure you have activated all Core Widgets in Prime Slider > Core Widgets settings. If these widgets are disabled, the slider may not appear.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

    Hi,

    1. Thanks, will give them a look.

    2. I think you misunderstood me. I meant whitelabelling the theme, such that people cannot view the code from a bworser and immediately be able to tell it was done using the Consultra theme. Some theme authors provide this possibility/feature. Some allow changing the theme name and branding you can see in the WordPress Dashboard: Appearance > Themes. That’s what I was asking about.

    3. I have enabled all the free core widgets under Prime slider but still nothing. See the link provided and advise, please.

Q5. How can I go about doing a mega footer? A footer section right above the copyright section, which has several columns of menu lists and maybe some other content that will permeate my entire site?

    Hi Petres,

Thank you for reaching out! I understand that you’d like to whitelabel the theme so that it doesn’t show any references to “Consultra” in the code or the WordPress Dashboard. While this isn’t a default feature of the theme, I’d be happy to guide you through a solution to achieve this.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to customize the theme name, branding, and code references:

Navigate to the theme folder in your WordPress installation (e.g., wp-content/themes/consultra/).
    Open the style.css file.
Locate the following lines at the top of the file:

    /*
    Theme Name: Consultra
    Author: Consultra Author
    Description: Consultra Theme Description
    */

Replace “Consultra,” “Consultra Author,” and “Consultra Theme Description” with your own custom name, author, and description.

Save the file and refresh the WordPress Dashboard. The new information will now appear under Appearance > Themes.

Rename the theme folder (e.g., from consultra to my-custom-theme).

Update any references to the old folder name in the theme files. For example, if the theme uses get_template_directory_uri(), ensure it points to the new folder name.

Search through the theme files (e.g., functions.php, header.php, footer.php) for any references to “Consultra” or the original author’s name.

Replace these references with your own branding or remove them entirely.

To avoid losing your changes during theme updates, create a child theme and make the modifications there.

If you’re not comfortable making these changes yourself, I recommend hiring a WordPress developer.

    Hi,
For the 3rd problem, can you check your settings from the link below?
    https://www.pixelwars.org/forums/topic/system-requirements-for-wordpress-themes/

Q4. The trendy content boxes on the Tata homepage (as shown in your image) can be recreated using a combination of HTML, CSS, and optionally JavaScript for interactivity. For this, you need to have advanced software knowledge. It seems like it can also be done with Elementor, but for this you need to have advanced knowledge of Elementor.

Q5. Creating a mega footer (a large footer section above the copyright area) is a great way to organize links, menus, and other content for your website. You can achieve this using Elementor (with or without Elementor Pro) or by custom coding. Below, I’ll guide you through both methods.

Go to Templates > Theme Builder in your WordPress dashboard.
Click Add New and choose Footer.
Name your footer (e.g., “Mega Footer”) and click Create Template.
Drag and drop a Section element onto the canvas.
Set the layout to Full Width for a seamless look.
Inside the section, add multiple columns (e.g., 4 columns for 4 menu lists).
Drag and drop the Heading widget into each column for the menu titles (e.g., “Quick Links,” “Services,” “Resources,” etc.).
Below each heading, add a Nav Menu widget to display your WordPress menus.
Go to Appearance > Menus in WordPress to create and assign menus if you haven’t already.
Below the mega footer section, add another section for the copyright text.
Drag and drop a Text Editor widget and enter your copyright information (e.g., “© 2025 Your Company. All Rights Reserved.”).
Style it to match your design.
After designing the footer, click Publish.
In the Display Conditions settings, assign the footer to Entire Site or specific pages as needed.

    Thanks for your responses.

For Q5. I already did the site homepage and just ready to do inner pages. Won’t customizing the child theme name and others break or undo all my work so far and I have to start over? Is there a way to prevent this?

Now I have Q6 – I want to recreate this kind of contact page and believe this is outside your support scope but just asking for your advice on how I could go about it – [link provided below]

    Hi,

Great to hear you figured out Q6!

As for Q5, here’s a quick summary to make sure everything is clear:

–> Will Changing Theme Name or Using a Child Theme Break My Site?

No, your existing pages will not be lost — but here’s what you need to know:

    – Changing the theme folder name of an active theme (e.g., from “consultra” to “my-custom-theme”) will break the theme reference in your database. WordPress will think it’s a new theme and reset theme-related options (menus, widgets, Customizer settings).

    – To avoid losing your work, it’s best to either:

    1. Create a child theme now and do future customizations there (safer for updates).

    2. Or clone your site to a staging environment, make the rename there, test everything, then apply it live.

If you’ve already customized everything using the current parent theme (Consultra), we don’t recommend renaming the folder unless absolutely necessary. Instead, you can white-label using plugins like:

    – WP Hide & Security Enhancer (hides theme info without renaming)
    – White Label CMS (for dashboard branding)

This way, your current work remains intact.

Let us know if you’d like help configuring — we’re happy to guide you through it!

    Cheers,
    Mehmet

    Hi,

I would like to create an About page like the one (#1) I’ve provided privately.

    Please provide guidance.

For example, like the about page of the first link I provided, How can I have slider-sized images that lay under the navigation menu on that page only, and then have one image after the other underneath this image, going all the way down?

Hi, To customize your page easily using Elementor, please follow these steps:

    Create a Blank Page
Start by creating a new blank page in WordPress.

    Open with Elementor
Click “Edit with Elementor” to launch the builder.

    Add a Template
In the middle of the screen, click the “Add Template” button.
    From here, you can either:
Choose a pre-designed template from the Library (under the Library tab).
Or, switch to the “My Templates” tab (next to Blocks) to import our pre-made “About” template and edit it as needed.

This gives you full flexibility to customize the layout to match your requirements. Let us know if you need any further assistance!

    Best regards.

Oh, I was thinking you would share tips on how to have an image or slider that starts right the beginning of the page, beneath the navigation menu (which will have to be transparent).

    petres_007

I have now used a template like you suggested. But my navigation menu over it appears opaque, with its background. I want it transparent for THIS page. How can I achieve this?

Thirdly, is it possible to have a scrolling, vertical, full page slider like here (link provided privately)? If so, How can I achieve it?

I see that Home 02 is somewhat like this, although it all stays onscreen and doesn’t move down vertically like this other site does.

    Hi,
Please check the url you shared with me, it does not open. Customers sometimes cancel the entry from a different country. Make sure that this setting is also not turned on by the hosting. By the way, when you open a page you want with elementor, you will see the header style in the right widget panel. Select transparent here and the menu structure of the page you want will be transparent. Normally this comes by default.
    Thanks

Can you include a screenshot of where to find this right widget panel? I can’t find it when I am viewing the page in Elementor edit mode.

You should also note, I want to enable this transparency for a particular page and not for all the pages on my site.

    Hi,

So my customer’s told me they want their pages interesting – lots of sections with images and text like this here – https://levelsevenltd.com/tempest/about-us-2/

The chosen format is this section – https://ibb.co/Mxwtg2yr

Now, I can replicate it for all the other sections in the body. But the first section right under the menu is actually a slider, which I have been unable to make look exactly like this chosen format – https://ibb.co/Mxwtg2yr

Please advise. Is it possible to style that slide/slider exactly like this (with the subtitle atop and its yellow line)? OR is it easier to just make another image section, make it the first and place it right under the menu like the slider currently is?

    serkan

    Dear Petres,

Thank you for sharing your vision for the page layout. I understand you’d like the first section (currently a slider) to match the design of the subsequent sections, including the subtitle with the yellow line.

While it’s technically possible to style the slider to look exactly like your reference, this would require significant customization, including advanced CSS adjustments and potentially restructuring the slider’s HTML. This process can be time-consuming and may involve additional development effort.

As an alternative, I’d recommend replacing the slider with a static image section (like the other sections) for a few reasons:

Consistency: It will perfectly match the rest of the page’s design.

Easier Implementation: No complex customization is needed.

Faster Load Time: Static sections often perform better than sliders.

Of course, if you strongly prefer keeping the slider and want it styled exactly like the reference, I can provide guidance on the steps needed, but it may fall outside the scope of basic support due to the level of customization required.

Let me know how you’d like to proceed—I’m happy to discuss the best approach for your goals!

    Best regards.

and, is there a way to make the menu text a different colour on a specific page?

    serkan
    Moderator

    Hi,
When the header is dark or light, the menu changes to the opposite color. If you want to use another color other than black for the contact page, I can give you custom css code.

You can add a static image by editing the course page directly through WordPress (not using Elementor). Just go to the course editor, and you’ll be able to upload or replace the image in the desired section.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I tried to add my image directly through wordpress editor rather than through Elementor but it broke my site and I’ve restored from a backup.

Can you help break it down step by step?

    Please.

If you check now you will see I have the replacement section with the image and texts all ready, right underneath the slider. I just want to use it as replacement for the slider so that the navigation menu appears over it.

I’ve seen it. Big thanks to you!!

But its not exactly what I had in mind. I was thinking if the transparent heaver/navigation, could start from being over one of my image sections like in this hurriedly photoshopped image I just did to show you (provided privately below).

Is something like this possible? Where this page does not have a regular header but starts off with page content (the image sections with the headings, yellow line, and text)?

If not, I may have to just accept the page header the way it is.

    Hi,

    Quick question:

Can you advise how I can achieve rectangular and square-like content boxes like these for use on my site? Please see the imgbb link below.

    serkan
    Moderator

    Hi there,

You can easily create those rectangular / square content boxes directly in Elementor, no extra code needed:

Add a Section/Container and choose the number of columns (e.g., 3 on desktop, 2 on tablet, 1 on mobile).

Inside each column, add an Inner Container (this will be your box).

    In the Style tab, set:

    Background color (e.g., white)

Border (1px solid) and Border Radius (e.g., 12px)

Box Shadow for a subtle card effect

Padding (e.g., 24px) so the content has space inside

    To control shape:

For square look, give the box a fixed Min Height (e.g., 300px).

For a rectangular look, just use a smaller Min Height (e.g., 200–240px).

Place your text, icons, or images inside and center them using Vertical/Horizontal Align = Middle/Center.

This way, you can duplicate the box design and adjust the heights depending on whether you want a square or rectangular style.

    Best regards,
    Serkan
