What does "make primary" – under categories – do?

    Never noticed this before – maybe was recently added?

    In the wordpress admin there is a link that says “make primary” next to the categories that we have chosen. This is in the right sidebar under “categories”

    What does this do?

    Hi,
    As a default, there is not any feature like this. It comes via yoast seo plugin.
    The WordPress SEO plugin uses this when generating its optional breadcrumb links. So the most important category can appear, rather than one of many categories that may be applied to a post.
