When the beginning of a post starts with a single letter (e.g. “A”), no space is added.

I’ve followed along issues with the drop cap in other posts, added the .css code, but seeing this issue.

You can add this custom css code as well;

.drop-cap:first-letter, .single-post .entry-content>p:first-child:first-letter { 
line-height: 1.8; padding-right: 6px; }
