Hello,
I wanted to use the “You may also like” section under my Posts. But it doesn’t appear. I activated the “Related Posts” button. I still can see the You may also like section under some dummy Posts, but it doesn’t appear if I create a new receipe (not even if I use a dummy post and insert my Content) .
There is also missing the previous/next post section.
I only installed one other Plugin which helps to create the data protection site, but this shouldn’t have any effect on the Posts?
Thanks
BeateAnd one other question: I would like to add an Mail Icon in the Header and in the sidebar. Is there any possiblity to add this?
Hello again,
meanwhile I found out, that I have to insert the receipe in new blog post so that I can see the you may also like section. Not the best solution, but it works.I also tried to Change the main slider from sticky to latetest, but I can’t find where to Change it. In the documention I saw that I can customize the main slider in the featured area. But I still can’t find where I can Change from sticky to latest Posts in the slider. Can you please tell me, where to change it?
And one more Question: I created a receipe which is also shown on the “Home” site. But it doesn’t show the picture which is included in the receipe. Does it not create the Picture automatically from the blog post? Or what can I do in order to display the picture.
Thanks BeateHi Beate,
Please go to appearance > customize > widgets > blog featured area > edit main slider widget > slides > change it to latest from sticky.
Edit your recipe, on the right hand side there is featured image section. You can upload the featured image and save it.
ThanksHello Serkan,
Thanks for your quick response. I used the „featured Image“ to upload my picture. I tried to upload it within the receipe as well as in the post section. It is still not shown in the main page or as a preview picture.
What can I do?
Thanks
BeateHello Serkan,
I tried again, and now it works with the featured Image.
But now it Shows the Picture also in my blog Posts. The Problem is that the Picture in the blog post displayed as horizontal, even if the original picture is vertical (I would prefer vertical, as the featured Image is vertical too) Is there any way to change the blog post picture in vertical? Or to remove the featured Image from the blog post, so that I can use antother Picture? I tried to use this Code (in the custom css section in the customizer) .
blog article .featured-image { display: none; }
but it didn’t work.
And do you Maybe have a documentation of picture sizes? Is there a E-Mail Icon which I could use in the Header? I tired to use the Plugin “font awesome” and it shows the Icon, but it’s not in line with the other icons in the Header, so this solution doesn’t really work.
And my last Question: Are your share Buttons ok with EU-Right or do I have to use another Plugin?
Thanks
BeateHi Beate,
I recommend you to install and run regenerate plugin once and try it again.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
You can go to appearance > widgets > header social media icons > you can use a couple of icons here. Email is not a social media icon that is why it is not in the list. We haven’t seen any problem before with Eu-Right before with the share plugin.
Thanks
