Sorry to say but your documentation needs some love!

It is not at all clear how to make the main image the same as the bearded dude in your demo.

I had to inspect your main page, download the image myself, and then figure out how to insert it in the home page.

Lastly, you should tell people to click on the theme in the themes list, and then press theme details – and NOT choose customize.

Please go through your docs and re-write.
