You can try to use this custom css code;

.entry-content .wp-block-embed, .entry-content .wp-block-gallery { max-width: 70%; margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; }

max-width: 50%; worked for me.
My gallery (link below) needs max-width: 100%; tho…

Is there another way to solve this problem?

I just added a videoblock and selected “Insert from URL” than I pasted the youtube url

yes but the css code is corrupting another part of the website…

and it’s not exactly what I was looking for ether… The css code just crops the yt video preview so much that the hight stays the same…
