I created another account on my server without any plug-ins and only the cvcard template installed.

The contact form doesn’t work, and if you go and edit pages, the “short codes” are still missing. Can you please tell me if there is any other solution?

Or maybe It has something to do with the permissions at the time of the uploads?

Or maybe it has to do with the way I am updating the theme? I usually do it with FTP (using Coda 2).

Yes already tried that, but for some reason, that (shortcodes), the map and the contact form from the template don’t work, I have to change functions.php in order to make changes.

Should I try to re-install wordpress again maybe? I already tried re-installing the template, but didn’t work. (everything with the latest update)

I fixed the contact form by downloading the contact form 7 plug-in. Now my only problem is still that the short codes are not showing :(

Yes I do have the latest version, but I realize that not only short codes are not working, the contact form is not working as well, here is my site:

Is there any way that there is something related with my hosting? I’m using Hostgator.

I checked the functions.php and found out there is some code related to the contact form, But I haven’t changed anything.

Or maybe I should do a backup and re-install everything on my site? What do you think?

This is how to use the map while they are fixing it:

In WordPress go to Appearance / Editor:
– select the Theme Functions (functions.php) file.
– ctrl + F to find the word “map-canvas”.
– Change the coordinates for whichever city you like.
– Press Upload File.
– done.

For the Base Style, go into your downloaded folders and look for:

theme/cvcard/css/skins/

There are the 3 Base Styles css files (flat.css, overlay-bold.css, overlay.css), whichever you like just open it, and copy / paste into the Custom CSS Box that is in “Appearance / Style tab” from your WordPress menu, and you can use any of those 3.

Hopefully this will help you while they fix those issues :)

Hey guys I manage to resolve the problem as well:

If you go to the folder: theme/cvcard/css/skins/

There are the 3 Base Styles css files (flat.css, overlay-bold.css, overlay.css), whichever you like just open it, and copy / paste into the Custom CSS Box and you can use any of those 3.

I manage to upload the data sample and make it work, but how do I change the Base Style, because I tried on the Customize section but it doesn’t change it. Thank you.
