I found a solution for this by installing this plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/
The plugin author thought it might have something to do with “certain hosting environments where transients are being offloaded to third-party caching solutions”.
So not so much wiser, but at least it works now :)
Thanks!
I did deactivate all my plugins and then I activated them again. But I’ve still got the same problem. It really confuses med.
I have the latest version of theBlogger shortcodes. 1.6 and it’s still not working. :/

First this is how bloglovin looks. In post that I have more than one photo it chooses the second image.

And this is how it looks with the featured images on ny blog.

So I asked the Jetpack people and the problem was the Photon plugin in Jetpack.
Here’s what he replied:
“I’m afraid you’re running into this issue:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/4175Jetpack’s Photon module doesn’t currently play well with themes that use images larger than the $content_width value. Until this is fixed, I’m afraid I can only recommend that you deactivate the Photon module.”
So I deactivated the Photon and now everything seems to work just fine. :)
My main reason is that I’d like to have the featured posts visible both in the slider and in the blog roll. As it is now if I use the sticky posts in the slider and want to have them visible they’ll be pinned to the top of the blog roll. And that’s what I don’t want. I want them to appear as normal posts in the feed.
It doesn’t need to be a specific category for those posts that was only a suggestion that might solve the problem I have. And I’ve seen other blog themes that do it like that. So only a suggestion :)
Thanks for your good work!
Super, this worked! Thanks :)
And if I wish not to have the default grey-ish color overlay over the image can I use any custom CSS for that? Can I do that change with some custom CSS perhaps?
OK, I see. Thanks :)
Now it has stop working again. I connected Jetpack and now it’s the same problem again. I really need the Jetpack plugin so this is not good. :/ Could I maybe write something in the Child Theme CSS file that could make it right?
But at least now we know that it’s the Jetpack plugin that makes the mess.
Strange, I’ve sent the details again now.
Ok, I’ve sent the password now.
Hm, this is strange. Now I’m having this issue again. I already tried to regenerate the thumbnails again and deactivated and activated all the plugins. First it works fine but then after a while I’m still having the same issue. Any ideas?
OK, thanks. One thing that might help when looking further in to this is that when I make a link bold or italic it will be a a:link but when I just make a link on my regular text it will be tho one with underline and black.
Yay! It worked! Thanks :)
That’s nice! Is this something that will be ready for the next update? That would be awesome!
Thanks :)Thanks! :)
