Okay, will do. Thanks! I will get back with you if need be :)
I’ve done that and I’m continually getting the same error. It’s to the point where I either need to delete the plugin and start over or use an entirely different WP theme.
When I click “preview this form”, in the ‘MailChimp for WP’ > Forms section, the form works perfectly with no issues. However, the Footer Subscribe widget form produces errors, which leads me to believe the issue is not with Mailchimp or the plugin. I’ve even resorted to github, and no one there is having issues with the plugin itself
I’ve done that several times and even mentioned that I’ve done that in the first message I posted. I am still getting the error. Are you able to visit my site and attempt to subscribe to the newsletter? That way you can see first-hand what I mean: http://hairrible.com
I don’t think you’re understanding me. I’ve created a list in mailchimp, however, the widget on theblogger theme won’t let a user opt-in because upon clicking the “submit” button, an error of “hey love, you gotta pick at least one list” is returned.
There isn’t an issue with the form itself, just the widget. I’ve tested the form on a regular blog page and it works, however the “footer subscribe” widget is not working with the plugin
I’m also having an issue with the Footer Subscribe Widget. I am using hte Mailchimp for WordPress plugin. I keep getting this issue when trying to subscribe/opt-in to the email newsletter: “Hey, love, you gotta pick at least one list.” I’m not really sure why this error occurs when there is only one newsletter list to choose from. I have changed the settings in the plugin and have selected the list that people should subscribe to.
Never mind, your advice for Vedran worked in my case as well. Thank you :)
