Almost there! I thank you for your patience with my pickiness.
If we can bump up the text beside the featured images, I think we’re good.

The top of the post title could be even with the top of the featured image.

Sorry, I was not clear in my question. I like that there is no overlay in the image’s regular state but it needs a little overlay on hover.

This worked great! Any way to add a bit of code to bring back the overlay (maybe not AS dark as the default) on hover?
