Instead of uploading the gif to WordPress, I uploaded it to Photobucket. I simply used the HTML link from there to embed it, and it works. Thanks for your help anyway :) kaya56Participant 10 June 2014 at 15:53 Posted in : .Gif image won't embed in posts #14750 This is weird because the URL I use in the code is correct, and doesnt have 404 error. But it seems when I publish it, it changes the link? kaya56Participant 10 June 2014 at 15:03 Posted in : .Gif image won't embed in posts #14748 So do I, but that’s not the link im using in my code. This is the link being used: http://www.theclockend.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/WCB2-234×60.gif Where did you get that link from? I can’t find it. kaya56Participant 10 June 2014 at 14:37 Posted in : .Gif image won't embed in posts #14746 Hi, It doesn’t look broken to me: http://www.theclockend.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/WCB2-234×60.gif Here is the code snippet I’m using: <a href=”http://www.camporetro.com”> <img src=”http://www.theclockend.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/WCB2-234×60.gif” alt=”some_text”></a> (please ignore “>” and “;” in above snippet, needed to add it to stop code dissappearing) As I said, I copy/pasted the same snippet into another blog, and it worked.
