Hey ahmetsali,
Thanks. It worked almost perfectly.
Though it changed the menu style and the titles to some posts have been duplicated where the picture should be.Thank you,
David
Well, It worked. But it also brought back the tag at the bottom of the post that i wanted to keep hidden…
Is there anyway to keep the by author and to erase the tag at the bottom of each post?
Thanks, Ahmetsali.
David
That worked,
Thank you, Ahmetsali.
David
site-header { padding-bottom: 0; margin-bottom: 2em; }
.post-date { display: none; }
.archives-by-month, .archives-by-format { display: none; }h1.site-title a,
.entry-content a.more-link,
.navigation a,
.nav-single a { border-bottom: none; }.post-list .date { display: none; }
That’s all i got in the CSS Field regarding posts.. Not sure what else it could be. The by author is still gone.
I got what I was looking for, Mehmet.
It’s
.entry-meta {
display: none;
}I’ll learn this stuff! … eventually.
thanks
What does a custom css entail?
I’ll try that.
I made a mistake in the first post. I didn’t mean tag cloud. Just the tags that I’ve entered in the tag field specifically for each post. They show up at the bottom of each post. I just want to have the SEO they give but I don’t want them visible.
Thanks
Beautiful.
Nice work Mehmet.
Thank you.
Hey Mehmet,
Thanks for the code.
When i followed your instructions, the photo didn’t link to the post. What happened was the url for the post was embedded on the main page above the picture. The url didn’t link the post either.
Worked great.
Thanks, Ahmetsali.
Hey Ahmetsali, Thanks so much!
The date on posts worked, and the JS script worked. But the 2) didn’t work.
The date is still showing up in the archives.
Bottom of the regular post.
I just realized that my social icon buttons have disappeared after inserting the above script.
I had the icons put in from the header.php code found in the stickied forum post that goes something like “social icon buttons bellow menu in masonry”.
How can i resolve this?
Great, Mehmet!
The site looks much cleaner now. Thank you.

Participant18 November 2013 at 22:51Posted in : Removing "posted in…Date… comments" on all pagesWorked great. Thanks
Great!
You’re full of solutions, Mehmet.
The images are now half the size but I’ve got an unforeseen issue. The text has remained the same size. The text now extends 25% more than the photo on either side on the home page. I’d like to have it look symmetrical.
I’d like to have the excerpt text in a block to the right of the photo. Is this possible?
Thus, the photo and the text will be centred in the middle column ( I’m using one column) together, the picture on the left and the block of text (excerpt) on the right.
Yes, I know I’m very particular. Perhaps I’m even demanding… But I really appreciate it!
Thanks,
David
Nevermind. I just had to set the image to featured image.
Thanks it works great!
Thanks for going through the trouble Mehmet.
I copy and pasted that text into the css field (theme options > style> custom css). When i refreshed my page, nothing happened.
Any ideas?

Participant15 November 2013 at 22:44Posted in : Removing "posted in…Date… comments" on all pagesHey Mehmet,
That worked to remove the comment and category information on the main page. The date still remains.
Also, when I Click on the the post excerpt on the main page and it brings me to the post page the following is still there below the title : “posted in Uncategorized on November 7, 2013 by themindedmind”
All i want on both pages, The main page and the post page, is “by themindedmind” between the title and the post.
Thanks
