    Hi Serkan,

Great, it works. (I still don’t understand the details, but I can live with that.)
    Thank you for your help!

    Hi Serkan,
somehow I have the feeling that I can’t make it clear to you what my problem is.
I get the part about entering shortcodes.
If I enter the shortcodes of your last message, I get a black square next to “Web Design” and a black square next to “AWARDS”.
    I’ve gotten this far before.
So the problem seems to be that the icons from the Font-Awesome font are not being recognized.
I just don’t understand what I have to do to make WP recognize the Font-Awesome font again.
Do you know – or do yo know someone who might know?
    Thank you,
    T.P.

sorry if I’m being stupid, but on the Font-Awesome Website, I can find this help:
    http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/3.2.1/get-started/
I see that the Font-Awesome files are already part of the theme in the fonts folder.
I don’t have a clue which method I shoud use and why it broke in the first place.
So should I use method one, two or three and which file do I have to enter the new code into?

    HI Serkan,
sorry I don’t understand your answer. Maybe I can figure it out. If not. I’ll ask again. :)
If you have hints which direction I should be researching, that would be greatly appreciated.

ok, sorry if I don’t understand what that means.
Does it mean none of the icons in the shortcodes will work in gerneral, or is there a way to fix it by changing some of the CSS code?

    Hi Mehmet,
thanks for adding the read.pot file with all the words used by the theme in it.
    This solved my problem.

For anyone new to this, here is what I did:
I used poedit to create a new de_DE.po file from the read.pot file, added all the translations I needed (poedit had the ones I had already translated as suggestions still saved), saved it als .po and .mo files locally and then I uploaded them via ftp to the language folder of the read theme.

    All works well.

    Hi serkan
the terms don’t show up in the .po file
the only terms with “archive” that I can translate are:
    Author Archives
    Date Archives
    Post Archives

I also noticed that some how a term that I had translated “continue reading”, which worked before now is not being translated again.
I have copied the .po and .mo files to the read/languages folder again and I don’t understand why it is working for most of the translations I added and for this one it doesn’t…
    weird.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Serkan,
thank you for your reply. I managed to translate some of the needed expressions with Poedit.
Now I’m wondering if/how I can translate the following terms on the Archive2 page:

    Last 30 posts
    Archives by month
    Archives by category
    Archives by format

    Hi guys,
I just bought the read theme and would also like to run my site in German and I’m wondering if you could point out what the easiest way to do this is.
I read in your documentation that I can use the “Codestyling Localization plugin or Poedit editor”. But before I go through the long process of trial and error, perhaps you could share again how you finally made it work.
    Thank you.
