Course Images Not Displaying Properly

    I’ve created courses using the LearnPress Plugin.

    However, when these courses are displayed on my homepage, there is a yellow film covering the thumbnail images associated with the courses. I have no idea how this happened, not how to fix it.

    Why are my images showing up with a yellow film over them on my homepage?

    Hi,
    One of your plugin is conflicting with the theme. You can deactivate them and realize which one is conflicting with the theme. Also, this custom css code will solve the issue as well;

    body.elementor-kit-32 img { opacity: 1 !important; }

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Thank you so much, this is very helpful! Can you clarify exactly where I need to add the code snippet? I’m very new to wordpress and coding. Can I add it in Elementor? Or do I need to go into the backend of my website?

    Hello, this worked, thank you very much for your help.

    However, the image resolution is not very good. How do I fix the image resolution so that it looks like the rest of the photos on my website? Thank you.

    Also, is there a way to fix the colour of the buttons? I can’t seem to make them any colour other than grey.

    Hi,
    You can use this custom css code;

    .elementor-button:hover { background-color: #DAD7D8 !important; }

    Also, I recommend you to install and run regenerate plugin once and try it again.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    if I regenerate the plugin will that impact any of the website structure? I don’t want it to erase any work I’ve already done.

    Also, is there a CSS code I can use to improve the resolution of the images?

    Hi,
    This plugin won’t impact any of the website structure. It will improve the resolution of the images.
    Thanks

    Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it.

    Just to clarify, which plugin do I install and regenerate? Is it the two plugins you sent in this link: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Or do I need to reinstall an existing plugin?

    Hello,

    I already had Regenerate Plugin installed. And I tried to deactivate it and then activate again.. but still not fixing the images.

    Hi,
    I didn’t mention that deactivate or activate the plugin. I would like to say that you should install and run the plugin once.
    Please go to dashboard > tools > run regenerate thumbnails and please follow the steps.
    Thanks

    Hello,

    Thank you very much. I followed the steps and re-generated the thumnails. However, some images are still blurry. Is there something else I can try?

    Absolutely, I shared the link below.

    The images for two of my courses are blurry on the homepage.

    Thank you!

    It could be:
    Your image size settings are too small.
    Original images need to be of a higher resolution.
    To solve this:
    Your image dimensions should match or be higher than those of your theme.
    Original images you upload should be at least 800 x 800px or higher to work for most themes.
    Also, your original images are blurry, please upload better resolution image.
