Efor Questions on header, Menu, Featured Image, URL Name, Plugin Theme updates

Few Questions from updating website on a desktop:

How do I make the Home header image not repeat itself on the top? (see below)

In the Home testimonials section: How do you add rating stars?

Menu – Services drop down sub-menu – Is there a way for the black drop down to be modified so sub-menu items are not so boxy? A little more rounded corners.

    Other Pages:
I am creating pages but they are not as wide as the home page, how do I create a page similar to home page in width? (see below)

I set a featured image when I created 2 new pages and the image is showing on the top but with a white line shows up in the middle(see below).

I also renamed the title of a page but the url is not updating with the new name (see below).

Plugin: Social Feed Gallery: Is this something that I could use on my wordpress. I only see a purchase now button.

    Theme Update Questions:
I received notice of the theme update and I just did a manual update under appearance/Install/Update Theme Plugins since I’m not sure if Envato Market is updating with your latest theme update in my wordpress. is this enough to update the theme?
I would like it to do it automatically but under Envato Market plugin Step #6 – Should show a list of purchased themes & plugins but I don’t have any list showing. I do have “Your OAuth Personal Token has been verified” on the top of the page, but how do I know is updating?

Is there an additional step I need to take on this page, like submit for this as well?
    Single Item Tokens (Advanced)
Add Envato Market themes & plugins using multiple OAuth tokens. This is especially useful when an item has been purchased on behalf of a third-party. This works similarly to the global OAuth Personal Token, but for individual items and additionally requires the Envato Market item ID.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
-If you do not want to see the home header image in the menu on the homepage, you should choose other options instead of transparent header.

-If you want to show stars in the Testimonials section, you need to change the star option from hidden to star. For clarity, I am attaching the screenshot related to the subject.
    https://ibb.co/wr7R0mzG

-You can use the css code below to make the submenu border more elliptical.

    @media screen and (min-width: 992px) { .is-submenu-align-left .nav-menu > ul > li > ul { border-radius: 25px; } }

-If you have created a new page and you want it to be full width, you should change the template type in the right panel. I am attaching the screenshot for clarity.
    https://ibb.co/hJZ35zVy

-The white line that appears in the center of the featured image is a redirect line indicating that the page can be scrolled down. You can remove it using the following css code.

    .scrolldown { display: none; }

-When you get to the part where the pages are, when you change the open slug with quick edit on the relevant page, the url will also change. This is how WordPress works. When the title changes, the url does not change automatically. You have to change it manually.

-You can find the documentation for the detailed use of the social feed gallery plugin at the url below.

-I am sharing the topic for how you can update the theme with you. You can follow the steps here.

-By the way, I have a favor to ask of you. In the future, please do not ask so many questions in a single topic. It will be more useful to open a new topic for each question so that our valued customers like you can find answers to similar questions. I wish you success in your project.

Thank you so much for these answers. I was trying to keep it in one place for simplicity sake but can see your point, will definitely create separate ones in the future. I also made some of those updates and looks good, thank you!

From above, I do have 2 follow-up questions for you:
In terms of the header, I would like to not repeat the header image horizontally, On my desktop, some of the people, including myself, show up twice. Is there any recommendation on how to make the image not stretch out like that?

When I update the theme: I do have some of those CSS updates, font color, updates outside the default etc, would any modification made be overwritten with those steps you sent?

    Thanks

    Hi,
First of all, can you share a screenshot with me regarding your question?
The codes you copy to the custom css section are not broken with update. But the changes you make in the source code are broken. For this, we recommend you to make changes to the child theme.
    Have a nice day.

Hi, I’m referring back to the home page header image when you land on my website (i’m on my desktop). I show up twice and so do some other people.

I would think none of the source code has been modified when you make changes in wordpress from the customize option for footer etc, like colors, font sizes etc. Thank you for letting me know.

    Hi,
I looked at the homepage with chrome safari and firefox, but I did not see a header image with a binary view. If there is a browser cache, please clear the cache and check again.
    Thank you

    Hello,
I am attaching screen shots below for home page on desktop and mobile.
Also, how do I confirm that the theme got updated through Envato? There’s nothing showing that it did.

    Hello,

You need to disable the “Repeat” setting for the background image uploaded to your website.

If, after disabling this setting, the image does not fully cover the screen, you can set the “Display Size” option to “Cover.”

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

Hi, can you please point me to where I need to go to make these updates? I just went over to the customize option and I also did an edit on the elementor section of this image and i’m not seeing these. Thanks!

    Hi,

While on the Elementor editing screen of your page, right-click on the section containing the background image and select the “Edit” option. In the sidebar, under the “Style” tab, you will find the “Background” section, where the background image and its properties are listed. Here, you can check the “Repeat” and “Display Size” settings.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

Hello, and thank you I got the settings.

From thread above, I am still not sure if the Envato plugin is working. Is there a way to confirm that the theme got updated through Envato? Something I can see/do to check it has your latest version?

    Thanks again.

    Hi @csyramahd,

We’re glad to hear that your issue has been resolved.

You need to configure the Envato plugin correctly in order to use it. Please check the link below:

    https://www.envato.com/lp/market-plugin/

Also, we always update the latest version information on the theme page. You can check it there. Additionally, you can see the version of the active theme in the “Themes” page in the WP admin panel.

I cannot find the setting to make the header sticky. Where is this option?

Also, is it possible to turn off the header on mobile/tablet views but keep it on desktop view?
I was considering making a different header via Elementor for mobile/tablet since it is difficult to edit the header that comes with the theme.

    Hi @ayw2024
Please go to dashboard > appearance > customize > header > menu > you can customize it here.

How to Create a Custom Header with Elementor (Quick Guide)
    Install & Activate Required Plugins
Elementor Pro (for Theme Builder) or use Elementor Header & Footer Builder (free alternative).
    Create a New Template
Go to Templates > Theme Builder (in Elementor).
Click Add New and select Header.
    Design Your Header
Use Elementor widgets (Logo, Menu, Search, Buttons, etc.).
    Customize with drag-and-drop.
    Set Display Conditions
Choose where the header appears (e.g., entire site, specific pages).
    Save & Publish
Click Publish to apply the header globally.

    Thank you for your help.

Is there a way to use the standard header that comes with the theme for the desktop mode only?

Can I turn off the standard header that came with the theme for tablet/mobile view only so that I can create a custom header for the tablet/mobile view using elementor?

    Hi @ayw2024
    Thank you for your question!
By default, the theme does not include built-in functionality to disable the standard header only for tablet/mobile while keeping it active on desktop. Achieving this would require custom coding. If you’re not familiar with development, you may want to consider hiring a professional developer from a trusted service like wpkraken.io to assist you.

    Alternative Solution Using Elementor
If you’re using Elementor Pro, you can create a custom header specifically for tablet and mobile views by:
Designing a mobile-friendly header in Theme Builder → Headers.
Using responsive display conditions to show this header only on tablet/mobile (under Advanced → Responsive).
Keeping your theme’s default header for desktop.

This method avoids coding and gives you full design control.
Let us know if you need further guidance—we’re happy to help!
    Best regards.
