Hi! I have spent some time now trying to figure out how to create a page with multiple gallieries, just like the sample page http://themes.pixelwars.org/photographer/portfolio/.
I have also tried to figure out how to crate a gallery with the features as this one http://themes.pixelwars.org/photographer/portfolio/outdoor/.
The documentation is red, but that did not help me. So please, can you put me in the right direction?

Some additional info: I have imported the demo-data, and activated the theme “Photographer” (not Photographer child).

If you imported the dummy data, you can get the same data and edit it easily. By the way, there are plenty of topics about the portfolio. Please search it in the forums. If you still need assistance, you can send me your wp-admin details via our contact form and add this topic url as well.

But I am still not getting my head around your departments and how to get the galleries I want to show on the main page when clocking the work-link.
1: What is a departement?
2: You write: “Add your parent departments to your menu. These are portfolio pages.” Under the department box I only find one option and that is “category”. And no button or link to create new departments. What are you actually trying to tell?What I like is the link WORK to not have a dropdown with several links. I want that link to show a page. On that page I want my different galleries to show like you do at http://themes.pixelwars.org/photographer/portfolio/. How can I manage what galleries to show on that “Work”-page?

I have read the thin documentation, I have followed the instructions:
“Create Your Homepage
Create a page.
Choose your homepage template from Page Attributes box in editing screen.
Add a gallery to your page content by clicking Add Media button above content editor.
Publish your page.
Go to: Settings > Reading. Assign your page as a front page”But you are miles away from getting this:

You can run the one click demo import plugin and have the same demo content then you can easily customize it.

After 3 whole days of hard work, reading, rereading, searching, checking testing, without a single word of help, I have finally managed to get about 80% of what I was expecting.
YET, and there is a big YET, the galleries seem to have a will of their own and show pictures at random: sometimes none, sometimes 3 out of 20, sometimes there is a missing row, and sometimes all the pictures. This is the same on my computer and on my phone.
Can you solve this issue for me, please?

It doesn’t allow me to deactivate the plugins. I recommend you to delete and install a fresh copy of the theme.
ThanksHi, I just bought the theme. When I bought the theme, for 75 (SEVENTY FIVE) dollars, I thought that, like other themes, it was a fake website, in which everything was prefabricated and it was enough just to change images and texts. instead no. Everything must be done.
How can I do the portfolio page like this:
