How do I add the search icon in my header?

I’ve tried adding it as a widget, but it doesn’t appear the same way is in the Readme theme demo site http://preview.themeforest.net/item/readme-a-readable-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/9167043

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. I missed this topic because of notification issue.
Please go to appearance > theme options > style > header search > choose yes and save it.
