I am using the image gallery and I am trying to find a way to show either the title or caption for the images.

Could you tell me how to resolve this please.

Hi, I did some research on this, but it has something to do with the structure you are using.
I would like you to take a look at the gallery structure when you go to your trellis-plants/ page, where the photos are opened with a lightbox and you can add a title. I recommend you to use this structure on your other pages as well.

But that structure is not a gallery so wouldn’t be useful.

I need the gallery itself to show the title. This should be possible so please fix the issue.

If I use the structure on the trellis-plants/ page then you can’t use the arrows in lightbox to go through the images.

The option to show captions is there in some of the galleries but they do not appear.

Im using the same gallery on a different site with elementor and have no issues so this much be a theme issue.

Hi there, some of the issues are fixed but the main one still remains. The caption is not visible on the gallery, it is only visible when you click an image and lightbox opens. The caption should also be appearing below each image in the gallery grid on the web page. It currently only appears when you hover over an image which is no good and looks messy/broken.

There is also now an image sizing issue as you can see here.

All the images are uploaded at the exact same size so not sure why this is happening. Can you please look into this asap as I am due to launch the site soon.

Hi, you can use this custom css code below to make the caption always visible;

.gallery .gallery-caption {
    opacity: 1;
}

The gallery layout is adapting to the page width, since you have 5 images in the first row and 4 images in the second row, the second-row images are enlarged to fit to the page width.

That shouldnt be the case. I have set the gallery to 3 col layout within the gallery settings so it should always be 3, not 4 or 5.

I have used the code provided so the caption shows, but really I need the caption to be below each image and not on top of it.

i have used the same gallery on another site I am building and as you can see with the link below, this is how it normally works as standard.
