1) My question is that can eliminate space between my portfolio so that it looks a single image instead of 2 images? I have a very long image that i want to cut into 6-7 pieces and then use it on screen so that they load as separate images but look as single image.

2) Where to put my display picture, currently i can’t find any widget to do that. I have given site title and image but it is not showing up on the left menu bar.

If you provide me your related url when you upload the images, i will check and try to eliminate the space between them.
What do you mean by display picture? Is it for portfolio item or homepage?
Go to appearance > widgets > empathy template page and out your menu icons there.
If you would like to change the order of your portfolio, you should change the publish date.

2) Display picture is the picture that comes over the main left menu which has buttons, over site name. I can’t seems to find where to assign it.

Go to appearance > theme options > Upload your Image Logo via browse button.
I am not able to help you on eliminating the space issue if you don’t provide me your related URL. You can let me know when you are available to share the URL then I can help you.
Mini text font size comes from body font size. But you can specifically increase its font size via this custom CSS code;

.mini-text { font-size: 1.2em; }

i tried it through theme option and tried uploading from browse button but when i save changes or by “add to the post” button nothing comes up after that in the image logo field. It is still empty. I tried all 3 options by uploading from computer, giving url link and from media library. Am i doing something wrong? i am new to wordpress.

I don’t want to increase the font size of the body text i just want the paragraph to have more width. so that it don’t appear too long in height. so i want to set the width of the whole paragraph rather then font size.

Hi, when uploading your image logo, you need to set Link Url = File Url Size : Full Size and then click on “Insert Into Post” button.
When you edit the page you can see the page attribute on the right-hand side. Under page attribute, choose different Template which is suit to you. You can choose full width or bit wider template.

The width issue is still there. This text is in Portfolio and there is no attribute option on the right side in portfolio to set width. why can’t i change the width of mini text?

Also i wanted to add only 1 social button at the right side of “Download CV” button but its not letting me do it the button appears on below it and on the right side which makes a very odd composition.

i have spent around 2 hours trying to give different value and adjust the contact page 4 columns “reach me” to 3 columns as my email doesn’t fit in the space but of no use. is there a way to do that? i don’t know css and i don’t where to put these custom css codes to make them work. But now my email address only come in right allignment if i divide it in two lines like you did in the demo by adding [at] and moving the site name in the second line but if i write mail@aaaaaaaaaaaa.ca this moves the whole address under the mail icon with wrong allignment. Is their a way to fix this?

If you want to get 4 items in a row then you have to divide it to 3 columns. If you divided it to 3 columns, your item will show in the center. More information please have a look to documentation > Shortcode > Column part.
I would recommend you to import dummy data for contact page then you can easily edit. Just change the column number. Don’t edit the row. And also I can help you when you get online your website.

Thanks for the link, i will look into that. About the width of contact page, only thing that worked for me was when i changed row width number. If i want only three items in a row then what should i do? it looks fine now on web from the code i copy pasted in my previous post but now 2 issues are remaining with it one is that email only appear correct if its in this format “mail [at] AAAAAAAAAAAA.ca” but when i change it to format i want “mail@AAAAAAAAAA.ca” the alignment becomes wrong another issue is that when i see it on my mobile phone all the three items are overlapping each other.

I had some more questions and i couldn’t find answer on any thread.

1) How can i enable pinch to zoom on my portfolio for mobile devices. I am using the standard portfolio.

2) How can i change or remove icon from portfolio thumbnail on hovering state. right now it is showing this icon “pe-7s-note2” on hover

3) My image logo is not showing up on mobile

Please tell me know how i can use a custom icon for linkedIN as the social icon short code makes the icon appear below the line from other icons in the list and it has very thin stroke compared to the other icons.
