Question #5

5.1 On the right of my menu there a line of few social media/shopping cart icons that I do not need, apart from IG and FB. How do I edit it?

5.2 How do I assign Facebook and Instagram profiles to those icons in the menu?

5.3. How do I connect Instagram to the “never miss the recipe” part on the very bottom of the page?

Hello,
I managed to get rid of unwanted icons, but there’s still shopping icon in my menu bar that I don’t know how to access.

Hi Marina,
You can use this custom css code;

.shopping-cart { display: none; }

Also if you go to appearance > customize or appearance > widgets
You can customize almost everything.

Hello Serkan,

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I am almost done, apart from populating the website, however I am still stuck with the shopping cart widget displayed to the left of my search button in the navigation menu area.

I have gone into appearance>widgets as you said and did find the shopping cart widget, but it doesn’t seem to be assigned to anywhere, it’s in the “available widgets” area, waiting to be activated and assigned a location. Am confused. Could you please talk me through it :)
